Loren R. Barron
Loren Barron is a Director at Elzufon Austin & Mondell, P.A., in its Litigation Department. Ms. Barron concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and professional liability defense representing lawyers, accountants, and other professionals in the Court of Chancery, Superior Court, and Federal courts.
Ms. Barron was born and raised in Delaware. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, magna cum laude, from the University of Delaware where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta and a recipient of the Edward Arlo Willing Scholarship Award. Ms. Barron obtained her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, on a merit scholarship where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Chapter.
Prior to joining Elzufon Austin & Mondell, P.A., Ms. Barron served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware for the Honorables John E. Babiarz, Jr. and Diane Clarke Streett. She also practiced appellate law in Bradenton, Florida, and served as a Federal Judicial Intern in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich.
In addition to her law practice, Ms. Barron serves on the Board of Trustees for Delaware Dance Company, a non-profit ballet school in Newark, Delaware.
